Road Trippin'/Moving across the country

May 29 was the day I started my drive across the country. Ryan would leave two weeks later from Colorado with the goal of meeting in OKC, where we have family, and where we would have another baby shower.

The route for my drive was to be a slow one. First Vegas to spend some time with my brother and try to link up with my friend Alex for a second. Then AZ to visit Mari and meet up with Nancy, then stop somewhere random for one night before hearing to OKC, or Yukon (Randy and Julie's house) to be exact.

Somehow no photos from Vegas with Steven or Alex, but we had a good time.  Somehow no photo with Mari (just one with her dogs), but it was very nice to rest up at her house and hang with her and Rob.  Finally, I met Nancy for an extra long lunch and had great conversation... hopefully she will be headed to FL too one day.

Baby Shower #1 - LA

We are so lucky to call LA a home and have so many friends here. We had a wonderful baby shower turn out thanks to our wonderful friends that all participated in setting it up and making it happen: Carol, Farah, Lana, Caroline, and Judith!

Thank you ladies so much, and thanks to all our friends that showed up and celebrated with us.  It was truly a blast and we felt super loved (and that baby I am sure feels loved too since she was showered with many generous gifts)!

We had tons of people show up close to us and are super grateful for their attendance:  Caroline, Carol, Lana, Anna, Pamela and Charlie, Linda, Xavier and Lydia, Monica and Ken, Nico and Alex, Julian and Cathy and Phoebe, Justin and his girls, Wendy, Tina and Dave, Pete Navarro and his wife, April, Chill, Ash, Lucy, Farah, Jim Geary, Peter, Jeanette and Tristan, Beringia, John, etc.

We are also super grateful for the gifts we received from people who could not make it i.e. Mari, Lisa and Taymon, Lydia's Momma Lu, Aaron and Rita,  Megan, Jess and Eric, Gena, and Yolikza.  So grateful!

Gender Reveal.... it's a... GIRL

We got the storch piñata, and we filled with with the color of our baby's gender.... then we took that to our gender reveal party... that was fun....
